Arrival of Monsoon has brought Floods and Landslides to Nepal


According to Headlines Himalaya Publication:

Arrival of Monsoon has brought floods and landslide in many parts of the country, especially in western Nepal. Informal reports suggest death of at least 39 people in different districts, while 18 are missing. As many as 122 houses have been swept away by the Mahakali river in Darchula causing loss of millions of rupees. In the meanwhile, Weather Forecast Division in the country has made a provision to know the weather condition for next 24 hours via voice mail.  This system is controlled by Meteorological station located in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.
