Visions of Mustang takes the top prize in the 2013 Reel Health Film Festival in Australia!

We are thrilled to report that Visions of Mustang, a documentary film about our Dooley Intermed eye outreach project to the Forbidden Kingdom, has just been announced the "Category Winner, and Best Overall Film" in the 2013 Reel Health Film Festival in Australia. The award winning documentary was filmed and directed by Daniel Byers of Skyship Films.

You can see the trailer for Visions of Mustang here: http://vimeo.com/38847615

Synopsis: The “Forbidden Kingdom” of Mustang is a small Himalayan Kingdom on the border of Tibet. Reaching it requires flying a bush plane, traversing the Kali Gandaki Gorge (deeper than the Grand Canyon), then crisscrossing Himalayan mountain passes over 13,000 feet for days on foot and horseback. Enter 18 monks, 33 ponies and a rough and tumble medical team on an expedition to restore eyesight at the ends of the Earth.

Congratulations to everyone on a most successful Dooley Intermed project and documentary film !
